dr. catfish left me a message last night. he was calling from within the guitar gallery at the experience music project in seattle.

i wish i had been there with you dr. c! i would stay two days too. we could sweet talk the curators into letting us jam with those iconic guitars.

the party was a huge success. kim has the best parties!

now it's time to pack it up for the flight to utah.

janet brown and billy

i am feeling pretty fried from the overnight flight, but i can't sleep. so i'm doing some laundry (a few things that kept that perpetual moist feeling from hawaii), catching up on the scrape and scrab, reading some of first's blog.

janet and bill here have finally settled down after kim left for work. bill (below) was all up in my face and on my computer, following me around.

oh, i locked myself out in the garage earlier, starting some laundry. luckily i left one sliding door unlocked!

maybe i'll try to lie down after lunch.

the red-eye flight from HNL has concluded, i'm in california.

so nice to see beautiful sunny SSF as i exit the united terminal at SFO,
that familiar bank of fog!

rainy day departure

last day in keaau!
hilo departure is 7:30p, HNL/SFO bound

it's been raining since last night.

turns out the lumpia lady at keaau farmer's market is from SSF!
