Gumyoji, Yokohama

Mom and I went to Gumyoji today, to shop at the shotengai and visit the shrine.

Gumyoji shotengai (shopping street)
Beautiful sakura on the river running through the shotengai
Gumyoji temple
Just a few doors down the river, by this tree, was a quiet lovely coffee shop
Coffee shop run by an older couple
Ham sandwich and buttered toast, delicious.
Espresso, beautiful and also delicious
The store which no longer carries a lot of indigo shibori...
Wonderful assortment of pickles
We bought baby daikon pickles, and onions pickled in shoyu and also ones in shiso. Really yummy.
On the Yokohama subway. My hair is getting way to long.
